Great Time At WES And LES

I had a great time walking around Lugoff Elementary and Wateree Elementary today! 

Over at Lugoff, I saw a young man in Ms. Lynch’s class reading a Matt Christopher sports book.  When I was his age, I think I read every Matt Christopher book that had been written.  Years later, my own son did the same.  It’s nice to see that some things don’t change!

I really enjoyed the art done by fourth grades displayed near the office at Wateree Elementary.  The theme of the art was “Save the Ocean.”  Very, very well done!  I got a particular kick out Jasmine Kirkland’s work, which included a Gamecock theme!  I also had fun with Ms. Katherine Rogers first grade students as they finished up their library time.  Outstanding group!
