Collaborating To Save Money

Over the past couple of months, the School District has been working with the County on a way to collaborate on the purchase of copy paper in order to get a more favorable price.  Yesterday, through a mechanism called a “reverse auction,” the County and the School District were able to secure a price that is $5.00 per box, or about 15% less, than the current cost.  This savings will enable our schools especially to utilize supply budgets for other needs.  Special thanks to Allen Trapp from the County and Ed Estridge from the School District for making this happen!
