“Happy Feet” And Bethune “Bash”

Two great events from Saturday…

Each year, the Camden and West Wateree Rotary Clubs sponsor “Happy Feet”, which provides a new pair of shoes for school for a group of deserving students.  I can’t thank my fellow Rotarians enough for this program, nor can I fully express how important it is.  For the children involved, it means they’re going to start school feeling that much more confident.  You can’t put a price tag on this.  Many thanks!

The First Annual Bethune “Back to School Bash” was a huge success!  They’re was a tremendous turnout!  110 bookbags of school supplies were handed out, and everyone enjoyed the bounce house, helicopter, fire engine, snow cones, hot dogs, fun and fellowship.  Many thanks and kudos to Ms. Kodi Weaver for her leadership in making this happen!
