I was very excited by the opportunity to join State Superintendent Molly Spearman last night at a meeting of the Kershaw County Baptist Association to talk about how the faith community can be involved in our schools. Some very good things are going to come out of this meeting! The Baptist Association is already actively engaged in our schools through the “Sacks of Love” program, which is a tremendous blessing to many of our young people. I also want to give a shout-out to the Baron DeKalb Choir for the wonderful music these students provided at the meeting. A very energizing evening!
