As part of the celebration of Super Bowl 50, the National Football League has sent a silver football to every high school in the United States that has a graduate who played in a Super Bowl. Kershaw County has two such players – Tyronne Drakeford from North Central High School and Bobby Engram from Camden High. Tyronne Drakeford played in the Super Bowl as a member of the San Francisco 49ers and Bobby Engram played as a member of the Seattle Seahawks. Mr. Drakeford was on hand for the presentation at North Central this past Tuesday night. Mr. Engram will be coming for a ceremony at Camden sometime in March. A very special honor for our community!
