The school district is pleased to be partnering with the University of South Carolina to offer all high school students an opportunity to use an online vocabulary tutor called Dictionary Squared for free this summer. The site will help students learn words that they need to excel on standardized tests such as end of course exams, the ACT and the SAT. Students who use the site for four weeks will be entered in a drawing for a gift card from USC.
We’ve placed a link to the Dictionary Squared site on our website at www.kcsdschools.net. To have free access, students need to email Elaine Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a login. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ms. Miller at 803-777-9903.
