Junior Leadership Graduation

Junior Leadership graduation, which took place Thursday evening, is one of my favorite ceremonies of the year.  I try to keep in touch with the group to watch its progress as the year unfolds.  It’s always fun to see how a group of students from our three high schools and Camden Military start pretty much as strangers in August and come together as a real team over the eight months of the program.  I appreciate State Senator Thomas McElveen taking time from his busy schedule to be the keynote speaker at the ceremony.  Special congratulations to Haley Maree from Camden High, who won the Robert J. Sheheen Outstanding Junior Leadership Award.  Thanks to the Chamber and so many other groups for helping to make this program possible.
